Contest Guidelines
- Use the online entry form and answer all the fields.
- This contest is open only to nonprofit organizations.
- Entries should not include any attachments. Entries can refer to another website to view other related information or graphic materials.
- All submitted materials become property of Neighborhood Reinvestment.
- The deadline for entries is July 1, 2004.
- Neighborhood Reinvestment reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not fulfill the requirements of the contest. All decisions are final.

Official Rules
- To enter, complete the full application online and submit to Neighborhood Reinvestment.
- All entries must be submitted by midnight, Eastern Daylight Time, on July 1, 2004.
- All entries must be submitted by a nonprofit organization and represent work or strategies they are implementing.
- Neighborhood Reinvestment is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected submissions.
- No submissions can be answered.
- By entering, applicants agree that submissions will become the property of Neighborhood Reinvestment. Submissions may be published or used in any and all media, whether now known or thereafter devised, without compensation.
- Employees of Neighborhood Reinvestment and their immediate families are not eligible to apply.
- Neighborhood Reinvestment reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not fulfill the requirements of the contest. All decisions are final.
- Four prizes of $2,000 each will be awarded to winners in the four categories of submission:
- Best Homeownership Marketing Strategy
- Best Strategy for Reaching Minority Homebuyers
- Best Collaboration to Promote Homeownership
- Best Postpurchase Strategy
- Runners-up will be recognized on Neighborhood Reinvestment's website.
- Winners will be selected by a panel of judges based on the following criteria:
- Cost-effectivenessstrategy was modest in cost and effective;
- Impactstrategy increased or improved prior results;
- Innovationstrategy demonstrates creativity and uniqueness;
- Collaborationstrategy spurs collaboration with other partners; and
- Reproducibilitystrategy can be implemented by others.
- Winners will be selected on or about August 1, 2004 and will be notified by mail or e-mail. Winners will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity/Materials Release which must be returned within three (3) days of receipt of notification letter or alternate winners will be selected.
- Winners will be officially announced at the NeighborWorks® Training Institute Symposium on August 11, 2004 in Washington, DC and on Neighborhood Reinvestment's website on or after August 12, 2004.
- All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
- Void where prohibited by law.
- NO PURCHASE REQUIRED.
